Storms Are Brewing
The monsoons keep brewing off behind the Estrella Mountains, but we're not getting any rain yet. I love driving along the field roads at this time of the evening and hoping it will actually cloud up and rain.

Skywatch Friday - Brush Fire
This photo was taken in the summer of 2008. It's what happens in Arizona when the lightning from the summer storms meets the dry brush in the river bottom. Although, it looks close to the houses, it is miles beyond them. Visit here to enjoy other takes on Skywatch Friday.

Skywatch Friday - The Storm is Coming
This was a storm moving across the valley below Yarnell Hill last summer. That's one of the things I love about Arizona. Truly wide open spaces where you can watch storms travel along.

Stormy weather
Lookings to the southeast at the Estrella Mountains. It's funny to see the storm below, but still see the clear sky and moon above.
