Skywatch Friday - Owl in the Sunset

This is a Burrowing Owl silhouetted in a sunset west of Goodyear. He was squawking at me the entire time. I wanted him to fly so I could try and catch a shot of that, but he wouldn't cooperate.

Please enjoy other views of the skies at Skywatch Friday

This is a great shot! We used to have those owls here but I haven't seen one for over ten years now. I guess they all moved south.

What a great capture! I think it's cute that he stood his ground and wouldn't let the mean lady with the camera scare him away. ;-)
