Dust in the Wind

Even with our recent light rains, this farmer stirs up a cloud of dust while out working in his field.

Which just goes to show that we haven't had nearly enough summer rain.

Great quote.

This photo also shows he coexistence of the remaining farm fields with encroaching subdivisions.

What a great quote! Sad but true. Boy, I wouldn't want to be a farmer in Arizona.

The field is very close to the new looking subdivision. Lots of dust there. I guess we have had a lot more rain up here in the high country. We have mud.

The quote is just too funny!

This past weekend when I was driving back from Western France, I saw the same kind of clouds behind the same kind of tractor. Funny that, because it had rained quite a bit!

But it makes for a good picture opportunity! Today it rained all afternoon! That's a first in I can't even tell you how long!

Oh, does that cloud of dust remind «Louis» of his childhood in the Texas panhandle...
