But a Seed in the Making.

This is a macro shot of a nasturtium seed that isn't quite ready to be a seed and fall off
the plant just yet. The hot weather is taking it's toll on my flowers.

I am just hoping you don't count on the harvest for your salad! ;-)
Such a nice macro.

This is a great macro shot. I'll bet you've got lots of seeds this year. With our summertime temps the nastyturtiums and 'tunias won't last much longer. Time to switch to vincas and lantana!

Therese - I'm one who enjoys the plant just for it's pretty flowers and leaves - just to look at though. I don't find them very tasty myself. :)

Brian - So true, I gave away lots of the seeds to my friend in Washington state and she's enjoying the plants in her more temperate climate.

Kathy - So true...gone are my petunias and nasturtiums...vincas are the order of the day!

So true, flowers don't last very long in hot dry weather. What remained sure made a nice macro shot though.
