A rare and welcome sight here in the desert, this is a waterfall at a local West Valley recreational area near the Estrella Star Tower.
This is another photo taken with a 38mm Diana lens mounted on a Nikon D40.

Rather refreshing from the scorching heat.
That water is very sparkley!
That old timey shot was taken at the Sedro-Woolley Historical Museum. They have different rooms set up to look like long ago. Kinda cool. MB
nice image!! regards
All those sparkles make me think of a Kincade painting. But much calmer. :-)
Oh lovely! I'll take that for here please, it's so hot (sticky big city hot :-(
I love it! Thanks to your educating me, when I saw the picture I thought "Oh, I bet she took that with a Diana camera!" It lends a very nice effect.
Lovely and refreshing image. I like the sparkling water.
This looks pretty good to me. From the desert no less. Wow. I can remember fearing that I might get trapped in a box canyon or something and drown if it rained somewhere nearby.
Thanks for the visit to my blog. It is always appreciated.
Wow, water in the desert. I can't believe it's still there and the sun hasn't sucked it up yet! I like that the water has a bluish, purplish tinge to it.
My husband, the photographer, likes this shot. I asked him what a Diana lens is. Oh you photog folks and your gadgets...:)
