Walls Do Talk


I tried to find out more information about this mural, but didn't find anything. It's painted on the side of building that years ago was the Greyhound Bus Station in Avondale and a Rexall Drug store. Here's a closer look at the writing in the lower left corner...

I did find this information about Martin Moreno who directed the project.

I have seen this mural - your photo of it is excellent! Funny, just dawned on me that I used to work with Tom Morales, too!! Who'd knew he become mayor, tho he always had lofty ideas.

A great plus to our Latino culture is the mural. That's how Diego Rivera became famous.

Hmmm. Rexall Drug. A name I haven't heard or thought of in decades!
