(Humming) Bird On A Wire

This is not the hummingbird I call Sluggo, the Ruby Throated bully that guards my feeders and is about twice this size. I think this may be a Costa's, but I'm not sure.

It appears that I was not the only one who enjoyed the cactus blossoms this Spring.

Flying Jewel

This little guy has lasted the winter with us.

He looks so chubby, because he's just pushing off the branch.

I've named him Rambo. He guards his feeder fiercely.

Winter Visitor

Some of our hummingbirds are staying

right through the winter. I bet they are enjoying

the beautiful weather we've been having the past

couple of days as much as I have.
