Looks like we’ve been tagged by PattiKen who has challenged us to a game of Crazy Eights.
Here are the rules:
1) Go to your photo files, select the 8th photo folder.
2) Select the 8th photo in that folder.
3) Post that photo along with the story behind it.
4) Then challenge 8 blogging friends to do the same.
Tracy: The picture above reveals something about me which is NOT that I love the rain. Like most desert dwellers I DO love the rain and treat it as nothing short of a supernatural phenomenon. I also don’t like to delete photos no matter bad or boring they may be (trust me there are plenty of those).
I took this photo one rainy day last August when I decided to go out and play with the settings on my camera. This is generally considered a gully washer here in the Southwest, but it actually did end up raining hard enough and long enough to soak the deck around the pool. So, yeah, like most Phoenicians I get a little goofy when the skies start to open up!
Nancy aka Magpie:
Okay, here is my shot...not very good but it does come with fond memories. I took this the day my Pop and I went on our road trip to Congress. This shot was actually taken in Yarnell at the Shrine of St. Joseph. Amid all the newly emerging greenery, there were these beautiful trees with a golden cast to them. The day was very bright and I didn’t compensate for the light very well and I’m overexposed (well, not me personally). My dad wandered over to the tree to see what kind it was. It’s an oak of some sort. Although the golden appearance came from the old leaves that were being blown away by the wind, they were what gave the tree it’s wonderful glow….kinda like people and life, don’t you think?
(This is a repeat of my personal blog where I was tagged by Enchanted Oak)

I live in the 'Evergreen' state. Called that because of ALL the RAIN we get. We go goofy over sunshine. LOL MB
I am going to do Crazy 8s on the 8th. HA!! MB
Thanks for sharing your eights! It's fun to see random pictures rather than carefully chosen ones.
