This "reclycled art" is in a public park at the Liberty Water Reclamation Facility in Goodyear. I couldn't find anything about the art work, but someone I spoke to at the park said it had been done by local school children. There were all kinds of items embedded in the concrete...light sockets, plumbing fixtures, wire, nuts, bolts, glass, bottles, and on and on.

What a great ball! When I first looked at it I thought it was jewel-encrusted. Imagine my surprise!
how cool is that...that kids got to help with it makes it even more special. i has an asteroid feel to it....perhaps it is the world and a thought of what we can do if we recycle...
Can you imagine how much fun that would be for a child to be able to create!! Very cool!
Cool art project, like a time capsule. Imagine the sorts of embedded objects if this were made 100 years ago. :)
Not bad! Something I would love to make from trash recovery and put in our own backyard.
Very nice photos. The first artwork looks like an ufo...
very neat. I always like an art in the park project. MB
