Skywatch Friday - Fire and Lightning

This shot shows a fire burning in the river bottom (not as close to the houses as it looks) with a lightning strike in the distance.  Often the lightning starts the brush fires, but in this case it was careless persons unknown.

Fire Danger - High

Remember all that beautiful green we had this spring from all our rains???  Well this is what it becomes about this time of year and wild fires become a real problem...either careless people or lightning can set this off in a heart beat.
