Photos taken in and around West Phoenix, AZ
nice...like the point of focus... we have a bucket of shells around here somewhere...
So where do the shells come from? I like those twisty ones. I forget what they are called. Wencles or something. Nice sunny/ shadowy shot. MB
Great image. Love the composition of it. Lovely light. I can almost feel the shells.
I didn't know the canals had seashells.
This looks like it could be a photo to illustrate depth-of-field in a book about photography or a camera instruction manual.
Oh my Sally pushing faux seashells ha ha. Nice shot. We used to walk along the canals and collect this when we were kids.
Lovely shot, Magpie!
Intriguing..as previous bloggers mention I wonder how sea creatures wind up in an Arizona canal? Lovely photo of nature's treasures.
Who would have thought! Love it.
Interesting. Neat capture -- like the lighting too.
What a beautiful variety of shells! Our shells are pretty much just mussels and clams... very boring.
That is part of the beauty of AZ; it's all beach but no ocean! :o)I love this shot, it's really gorgeous in its subtlety.
Great composition in that photo!Beautiful!B
