What Goes Up....

doesn't always come down....without a little help.

This weekend my brother-in-law landed a RC airplane in the top of a very tall tree. Took them two nights to figure out how to get it down.  Near the top of the tree you can see a spot of red. That's the plane after they've gotten it to fall five or six feet. They did eventually get it down. I didn't have my tripod with me and it was almost dark...sorry for the movement.

At least they got it down. A small parachute has been tangled high in a tree here for well over a year, which is amazing considering the high winds and storms we've had during that time.

Well, it gave them something to do, figuring out how to get it down and then, getting it down. Hope it wasn't damaged too much. I like to watch them being flown. It looks like such fun, but I would crash it.

Nice capture. Good thing a squirrel didn't get hit in the incident. Wait it's Phoenix, he would be indoor under air conditioning!

I bet you weren't allowed to laugh out loud, were you? There is something about 'boys 'n their toys'. So HOW did they get it down?

So is he practicing to be a pilot for JetFu - oops - I mean Jet Blue?

Either they need flying lessons, or need to climb trees. ;)
