Did you know there are actually a lot of wild peacocks in the Phoenix area? So many that the bird rescue people won't rescue them anymore. I think people get them and then discover how noisy they are and then let them go. Such showy birds ~ especially males like this one.
I almost lost the horse I was riding when a "herd" of peacocks spooked him in an orange grove in Florida! He ran out to the clearing waaaay down at the end of the row of trees into a field filled with...MORE peacocks. Shocked him still and I was able to grab him! funny...now...

Perfect colors. He should have a mate in no time! :)
Now that's a colorful lil guy or gal! Check out that bright blue on the neck! WoW!
Is this the Johnny carson show? LOL
Pretty Peacock.
We had heavy rain all day. It wasn't too cold though. I didn't wear a jacket when I went to the store anyway. MB
Wearing his finest feathers!
NBC has lost his way... ;)
Just gorgeous. What a beautiful image.
Beautiful to look at but noisy fellows at times. It is always fun to see them wandering about.
Gorgeous! Burbank is a very cute little town, I was just there last weekend. :) xxoo
True bird royalty, endowed with nature's finery. Great photo!
I am soooo disappointed that he didn't stretch himself for you! He needs to exercise more rather than eat! :-)
The heat does not seem to bother him.

Ha I knew that's where you were. My sister used to live close to that park.
