no
Oh, the rules!

Magpie and I are awash in the the photography doldrums - it's hot, nothing looks interesting, sometimes we run out of ideas.

So what do you do when you're in the photo dumps?

I know this feeling very well. When the weather hovers in the 100's and the humidity is up too, it's just took hot to go for photography walks. I'm contemplating a "from my car window" series.

I feel the very same as you guys. I almost didn't even post anything today but I did. Habit I think.
are these the 'dog days of August'? MB

Tracy, this is too funny!! I hadn't looked at this one because I wanted to be surprised. Did you see what I posted yesterday? A sign! Are we made for each other or what?

The grocery store. It's cool inside and there are many bright colors just waiting their turn to get photographed :D

You may be in the doldrums, but it isn't showing! I love this one. Geez, people, lighten up, will ya?

When I'm in the doldrums I start doing macros. Everything is interesting when you look at it really, really closely!

BTW I love Sharon's comment! A "From my car window series!" Brilliant!

What a friendly looking place.

Start shooting portraits of strangers. It's the best thing I have ever done when it comes to photography.

Doesn't look like a friendly place.

I have been going back through my archives from time to time for posts. Too hot to go walking around town.

looks like they are going to need a bigger post soon...smiles.

Perfect! What can you do in that place?

I agree with Luis - what are you allowed to do?
Sharon's idea is interesting. I'm a lousy 'car window' photographer. I like the 'macro' idea. A piece of dust, macro view???

Sure is a lot of NO going on.
Photo doldrums; I browse through my photography magazines for new ideas.

At least you were allowed to take pictures!
