Theme Thursday - Help

Can you help them locate their capital "D"?
Raul & Teresa's has been a popular Mexican restaurant in Avondale since 1968. Over the years the restaurant has grown by bits and pieces to the size it is today. Teresa has sadly passed away and Raul is working at other things, but the restaurant is still family owned. We have family members who have to go here every time they're in town for the Teresa Special.

They seem to be "missing" a letter. Can you help them locate a capital "D" for their sign?

Please visit our friends at Theme Thursday for other takes on the theme "Help".

Has that sign been there since 1968?
It almost looks that way!
Good thing they are well known - I found it rather hard to read, and might have driven right past.

Maybe time for a new--yet rustic---sign. MB

I'll have to make a little trip to Avondale and try this place. I'm always looking for good Mexican food.

There's something folksy and friendly about a rustic sign like this.

I think I can live with the small d — it's the S I can't see!

Well, now I know where to eat if I'm ever in the area! Clever twist on the theme, Tracy.

The sign is just right as it is! :)

I hope you were careful not to back into that cactus while framing your shot.

You certainly needed no help to come up with this cute contribution to the theme. ;-)

Great take on the "Help" theme. I think I would enjoy eating there. I love family owned places because they are more friendly and the food often tastes more like home cooking.

I enjoyed the "puzzle" of making out what the sign said. Traffic permitting, I might have slowed or stopped to do that, figured out what it said, and pulled right in.

Actually, the "Mexican Food" part is easy to see. That's all it would have taken...

;-)

Lovely photo.

You do have to wonder how the decision was made to use that one lonely lower case letter! Nice TT...and thanks for stopping by mine, as well. :)

Fun sign, especially with the little d's. That image makes me hungry. :)

at least people will notice it with the uncapitalised 'd'. Feel like a burrito now, it's almost lunchtime
