Sago Palm

Sago Palm
This is another one of my favorite plants here in the southwest, the slow growing Sago Palm. You can see the new fronds growing in the middle of this one. They also produce “pups” which are shoots that will sprout out of the ground around it and can be used to start new plants.

I don’t why, but these palms always make me think of prehistoric times and dinosaurs.

I do love succulents. Around here, there just for inside though.

Thanks for hopping by my place. No email to reply to you so I stalked you to track you down! I appreciate you coming around.

One of my favorites too! Take care of baby sagos because the more mature ones you find in nurseries are sooooo expensive!

Now that you point it out, it does look prehistoric.

Hello from Toronto! Hubby dear decided to sleep early so I get to use his laptop while I'm doing the laundry. ;)
