Phoenix International Raceway
























This weekend NASCAR fans from around the globe have their eyes focused on Phoenix International Raceway as it hosts the Subway Fresh Fit 600. PIR opened in Avondale in 1964 and ran its first Winston Cup Sprint Series in 1988.

woohoo...went to a race or two in my day...not an everyweek kinda fan, but they can get pretty excited for making a bunch of left turns. smiles. happy saturday!

Not the wor only the letters. I haven't been to a race in years. Used to go to the short track but did follow Winston Cup and now Nascar. MB
