The Pedigree of Honey

The Pedigree of Honey

The pedigree of honey
Does not concern the bee;
A clover, any time, to him
Is aristocracy.

Wow, what a fabulous shot. I'm a little wary of being around bees after hearing of the numerous attacks around the Valley in the past couple of weeks. Then Friday afternoon I heard that Phoenix Fire had been called to dismantle a large hive near the Murphy Bridal path along Central Avenue and I had just been walking in that very area that very day! I am allergic, so even one sting is dangerous. But back on a more positive note, have you read (the book) and/or seen (the movie) "The Secret Life of Bees"? One of my favorites.

Kathy - I've read the book and loved it. I can't recall if I saw the movie. Isn't that funny?
I'm so glad you weren't bothered by the bees on your recent walk. That's scary to be allergic to them. I love bees.
