Theme Thursday - Surface



Meteor Crater, near Winslow, AZ, looks so much like
the surface of the moon that Apollo astronauts trained there.

My parents visit that place all the time, and I don't know why. Of course, I've yet to go, so maybe I should rectify that.

driving through Arizona, this is a place I sorta wanted to stop at....kind of looks like a big hole...hmmm, how many gerbils would it take to fill that hole?
