Three Bears

bears
This bear family poses outside the Black Bear Diner in Goodyear.  This is a chain restaurant, but I have to admit that I didn't know that until I looked it up!

The wooden statues are cute. The end.

This looks like something you would expect to see in the Pacific Northwest or Colorado, not PHoenix.

Oh, we LOVE the Brown Bear chain! We've been to the one in Sonoma, CA, the original one near Mt. Shasta, and the one in Redding, as well as the Goodyear one. Oh, and one in Tulare, CA. The food is good and dependable!

I've seen some bear sculptures a lot around in the PNW. I like the little one clutching its salmon!

I like the little guy too.
Never heard of the restaurant chain but If it is surrounded by bears it must be good. MB

I have never heard of this chain but I would try it. I like the carved bears but I don't think I am the sister that Sharon is talking about.

Yes we have a Black Bear Diner too (in Seaside)but there's only one carved bear and he's not as friendly looking as these guys.

At first I thought papa bear had a semi-automatic rifle in his paws. Then I realized it was a fishing rod. Whew! Give a bear a fish and he'll eat for a day; teach a bear to fish...

Wow, I am glad to hear they are still around! The one in North Phoenix at I-17 and Bell Road closed within the past year.
